• A dedicated yogi, forever student, fur baby mama, and overall wellness encourager. Growing up in a small fishing town outside of Myrtle Beach – I have always had a calling to be near the sea. I find myself traveling to wonderful places but always coming home with gratitude for the coastline. I truly believe yoga is for every BODY and I love to share this lineage with as many people as I can. Yoga made its’ way into my life when I was trying to find space for myself to breathe amidst the chaos. Yoga made me strong – not just physically but mentally – and I haven’t looked back since! When I’m not teaching, I am practicing. I love to be a student of anything: yoga, school, hobbies, life! Give me the chance to learn and I’ll keep showing up to this class called life! I am very silly, always smiling, and love to laugh at myself. My aim as a teacher is to provide space for you to comfortably let go of stress and find peace from within – to feel the wind, to taste the salt in the air, to gaze upon the horizon, and just be.

  • I received my 200 hour from Inlet Yoga in 2015 in Murrells Inlet, SC (that small fishing town I was talking about.) Shortly after completing my training – I felt compelled to change my surroundings and I moved to Charleston! I knew I wanted to work with people and wellness, so I pursued my Masters Degree In Health and Exercise Science, and I am also a personal trainer!t

  • I feel inspired by others, by nature, by art, by those that keep trying even when it is hard.

  • Travel!! Nothing lets me cut loose more than packing a bag and leaving everything behind for a moment – knowing that it will be right there when I get back :D When I’m not globe-trotting, I cut loose with my community and friends usually somewhere with live music, dancing, drinks, and preferably dog friendly!

  • To be continually evolving into a better version of me – whatever form or shape that looks like – I welcome!

  • I had the opportunity to live on a tiny island called Saba in the Dutch Caribbean for six months in 2012. I disconnected from my American roots and lived without air conditioning and fresh running water for the first time in my life. I walked everywhere or hitchhiked because that was safe there. I spent a lot of time alone. I started taking better care of myself by eating healthy and exercising regularly. I dived the oceans and hiked the mountains and realized that health equals wealth. Enamored by moving my body, through hiking, diving, and fitness, I decided to explore yoga for the first time. I now think of that experience as a quarter life cleanse. I came home to South Carolina with purpose and joined a yoga studio and like this, the yoga journey began! Also, I can touch my tongue to my nose … easily haha

  • My empathetic spirit. I’m the type that cries watching a youtube video. By nature, I am a people pleaser and want to make everyone around me comfortable and happy. This trait has taught me a lot, but one thing for sure, I can feel energy and I know you can too! It’s our universal language – so bring on the feelings so we can share the journey, and nobody walks alone.

  • Here comes a long one, but it will forever be my favorite – hanging in a gold frame by my front door as a reminder to shine BRIGHT: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God (of the universe). Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” – Marianne Williamson
