Mind Body Connection

Yoga That Centers Around You

In 2003, I relocated to Charleston, SC, to complete a 200-hour teacher training at Holy Cow Yoga Center. Over the next decade, I taught in various settings, from private homes to studios.

With over a decade of teaching experience, Serenity Tree Yoga was born. My yoga philosophy centers around you, the student. I guide, ensuring your safety, and encourage you to listen to your body. Whether you prefer child's pose or savasana for an hour, it's your practice. I value smiles, laughter, and not taking life too seriously.

I grew up in a yoga-friendly home where my mom introduced me to yoga during my early childhood. She patiently guided me through savasana when I couldn't sleep, teaching me to relax my mind and let go. Her practice inspired me, igniting my own yogic journey.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, I worked as a crisis counselor for five years, deepening my interest in the mind-body connection. This led me to focus more on yoga, learning from inspiring instructors who reignited my passion.

I see my students as my teachers, constantly learning and growing.

Serenity Tree Yoga brings your practice to life, whether with loved ones at home, on the beach, or in a group.

It's about you, your breath, and your inner light. Yoga, for me, is a celebration of life, finding calm amid chaos.

Your Yoga Practice

Whether you prefer the comfort of your own home, the serenity of the beach, the company of your closest friends, or simply a practice just for yourself, Serenity Tree Yoga is all about you and your journey.

It's about embracing your breath and your inner light. To me, yoga is a celebration of life, a profound appreciation for what exists, and a sanctuary to discover tranquility in the midst of life's whirlwinds.

Serenity Tree Yoga provides the chance to unite your yoga practice with the people you cherish most.
